I know wealthy Repub corporate owners & shareholders pretend to be religious to join hands w/that wing of the party. But their motive for promoting more babies (for decades) is to increase the labor supply to keep wages low. Ppl should be reminded of this. The more of us there are, the less we’re paid (and harder it is on the planet)!

You have taken 4 comments, out of context, and completely fabricated (or plagiarized) a complete fable. This is pretty crazy.

And now our government is in the child selling business. Our president and his lemmings are truly a "basket of deplorables" which really seems like a compliment now based one their heinous actions.

I initially read The Handmaid’s Tale as dystopian science fiction, but it turns out it was an instruction manual. Those guys are creepy in so many ways.

The overturning of Roe v. Wade, the ascendency of broligarchs & manosphere podcasters, using DEI as a sexist slur, cash incentives for more white babies -- it's all patriarchy's last breath. The women I know are resisting like June. It's Mayday, mf!

Mr Busse, let's first entirely dismiss anything Donnie says. He just likes to hear himself talk, and he lies constantly.

Second, let's dismiss Vance. He's been married about 11 years, and he and his wife have three children. It is very unlikely that his wife has been fertile only three times in 11 years, so he's not as devoted to procreation as he claims to be.

Third, I will give you what I call my "sex talk." There are three good things that happen from having sex. The first is pregnancy, which almost no one wants almost ever. People go to trouble, expense, and some risk to prevent it. But when a couple want a pregnancy, and one happens, it's a good thing. The second good thing that comes from having sex is that the male gets pleased. Males are always pleased. It is comical and pathetic how easy it is to please males. Females have to try, if they don't want the male to be pleased. The third good thing that results from having sex is that the woman gets pleased. This is the art, the beauty, and the main purpose of sex: pleasing women.

I think it is important to recognize that many women choose the traditional role of wife mother and grandmother and feel very passionate about serving their families. But in today’s culture, only women of means can choose this as their vocation. The rest of us have to work outside the home, not by choice but from necessity. The issues you raise here are important and true. But when honor is not given to women choosing traditional roles, the patriarchy comes down hard and paints themselves as the defender of women in traditional roles. Don’t give them the opportunity. A little more respect please for the woman in the home. This issue is really about choosing our autonomy. Thank you

Under this admin, there’ll be no choice of autonomy and there’s no respect for women who don’t have that right. Many women want careers over traditional roles, or in addition to being mothers. They deserve to be honored too, not getting less pay for same job as men!

If this doesn’t outrage women enough to become the resistance, what will? Go re-read about what he wrote about the US Dept of Transportation head…THIS IS GILEAD!!

Sara,

Some people just don’t think it can happen to them, until it does. Saying women are choosing roles is all grand, but in the short 100 days we’ve seen what trump and co is trying to do. They are coming after women’s autonomy and we have to continue to push back as hard as possible! There will be no respecting women at home if they push their convoluted agenda far enough. Remember some of us have common sense but what about those under the maga spell?

The MAGA crowd is beyond repulsive, and anyone foolish enough to think they can raise a child on $5000 is insane. This whole outfit is insane and needs to be stopped. I'm tired of being outraged. The best antidote to outrage is action. I have two granddaughters in the State of Montana and I do not want them subjected to any of this crap. We need to stop this now and we need to do it by working together and not buying into any more MAGA morons and greedy guts. We need to defeat this entire movement.

Things just get creepier and creepier with this administration. Fear of losing the reproduction competition! They want more Americans but only white Americans. No need to ask women what they think about it! Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I do want to point out the biblical verses quoted here were written for that time in history. At that time St. Paul believed Jesus would come again during Paul's lifetime. He wasn't writing about the future, he was writing about then.

Note that only white women with stable breadwinners will receive the $5k to reproduce. Trump 2.0 doesn't want any women of color reproducing. It is frightening!

Hey Norah. How many examples of Elon Musk elevating, retweeting, agreeing with, white racist leaders you need? 50 enough? 100? And Trump inviting people like well-known caustic racist idiots to dinner at his home? (See Nick Fuentes)

Just own it. They do.
