What will you do when Trump and his cronies do not ALLOW a 2026 midterm election? Everything being done right now shows that no matter how much people would vote DEMS will not matter. He knows that there is a good chance he will lose control of the House, maybe the Senate also. He is not averse to invoking the Insurrection Act.

We’re having elections as we speak. I’d stop worrying about the indirection act until he actually uses it. Same with martial law, dumpy is a WEAK little boy.

I’ve had a lot of therapy, I’m not always this positive. However, I have to believe we will get through this or I’d have moved out of the country. Hold your head high and keep resisting ❤️✊🏻

"What do we do with this?" End of first paragraph. You mean eking, not eaking.

Otherwise spectacular, as are all of yours.

Regarding your request for paid subscribers, Substack is structured so that there are lots of accounts, and most of the paid subscriber ones are $80 per year. Some are $50 per year. Mine and others are free (some of us have day jobs, and don't depend on Substack). There are only a certain number of accounts for which a reader can pay before s/he feels it. That limits how many paid subscriptions most of us are willing to support. I wish these accounts were cheaper, and that Substack would offer X number of accounts for the low, low price of... Clearly, they won't. And to be fair to you, not only might you depend on paid subscriptions, but I have no idea how much of $80 per year Substack takes. I very much like your posts, and I'd love to chip in. Just not $80 per year, times...

Thank you! If I had to pay for all the Substack contributors I love, I would not eat… I would be informed and educated but starving!! :)

Ryan, unless you have a day job, you probably rely on these posts for income. And they're excellent. How much flexibility do you have with Substack regarding pricing? I have an account, too, and my posts are free. But I do have a day job, so I don't rely on this to support myself.

Who is leading the Democrats? We need a rally point. I live in California and will tell you it's not Gavin!

This is an all in for America moment. No time for quibbling, I told you so’s, or finger pointing. Let’s all roll up our sleeves and figure out how to rid ourselves of these crooks. I’ve had it and I know I’m not alone.

Democrats should aim to knock off Collins, Tillis, Sullivan, Moody, Husted, Ernst, Cronyn, Marshall, Daines, Graham, and Ricketts.

Also they should be looking for never-Trump Republicans who would be willing to mount primary challenges and if not run as independents against every other Senator. 1/3 of Republican voters plus Dems & independents puts almost every Senate seat in play.
