Yes, I’ve been frustrated for 35 years by Dem’s lack of responses to attacks made upon them as individuals and as a party. Never could understand why they wouldn’t fight back! It prompted & emboldened Repubs to keep up the nasty rhetoric & even bigger lies.
Some of us (**cough** moi **cough**) have been trying to tell the Montana Democrats this for 30 years. Literally. But behind the scenes there are people who just let the grassroots die from lack of nourishment. Keep pushing, Ryan. Maybe they'll listen to you. But don't turn into a Brian Schweitzer, who rode populist coattails to political power but turned into an egotistical ass whose ego wound up destroying the bench behind him. We are where we are today because it was all about him, and there was no building of future leadership -- or message.
Montana has always stood independently and worked hard to keep dark money out but now it feels like a lost cause. Thank you for standing up. You are what we need.

We’ve been too polite waiting too long to really be active so thank you so much for doing this. A lot of us have been saying this for MANY years. I donate directly to the candidate because the PARTY has shown no teeth. Hopefully it’s not past time to change this. e.g. Chuck Schumer was a classmate of mine and a very likable fellow but he has to get out of the way.

I agree 100%. The gloves must come off. One thing Dems do not understand is that MAGA does not respectfully listen. Therefore, it’s necessary to speak truthfully, and directly to them, to their Politicians, and to their donors. Do not allow them to deflect from the subject at hand. Point out the lie, because invariably there will be one. Pete Buttigieg is good at this.
