Public lands are our legacy to pass on to future generations, not to be sold to companies that will strip them of anything of value and leave behind the messes we have seen before that are Superfund sites that cost the government more money to clean up than they made from leasing or selling the land. This is criminal to destroy what makes America great. Our national parks, forests, deserts, mountains, rivers, wetlands that are all sensitive ecosystems that have a unique biodiversity, geochemistry, and beauty that is priceless.
