As far as the chemtrails bill, " TITLE 85, CHAPTER 3, a person may not intentionally inject, release, or disperse chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatuses within the borders of Montana expressly for: GEOENGINEERING." I wonder if they realize that water is a chemical compound. And mining operations would seem to fall under "geoengineering".
Regarding chemtrails—“I don’t know a lot about the issue, but I’m sure it’s going on.” Jeezus, how do you run a functioning country with dimwits like this in charge.
The MAGA BS runs deep in Montana Legislature. To give me hope I focus on last Saturday's Hands Off protest and look forward to the next rally. We have to make A LOT of noise to drown out the crazies and get the ship turned around.
We need to infiltrate their small town establishments and block the far right news channels. Heck Forest Lounge in Missoula has Faux News on all the time.
You've got a 24 year old who is undoubtedly still a virgin based on his being a follower of Charlie Kirk, a 19 year old who just from his appearance I would bet has always been home schooled by religious zealots, and a middle age guy who looks like a thumb wearing glasses. Only the best people!
Well Montana can be proud in having the undeniably craziest Republican legislature in the country. "We're number one! We're number one!". Idaho and Wyoming don't even come close.
You forgot to highlight White Christian Nationalist and wolf hater, Rep. Paul Fielder (R-Sanders County). His worst bill, HB 258, was voted down today in the House, 54-44 = Decisive victory! The bill that would have extended wolf hunting season into denning and whelping time. He introduced 11 different bills with the goal of exterminating wolves off the landscape. Meanwhile Chronic Wasting Disease continues to spread across MT, hitting mule deer especially hard. Wolves can help control CWD.
Ms Gunderson, I have cited this book many times: William Stolzenburg's "Where the Wild Things Were." Stolzenburg talks about the critical importance of apex predators, and he talks about the wolves. Several or many decades ago, they were hunted out of existence in this country. The result was an uncontrolled deer population that destroyed crops and vegetation in general. We had to re-import wolves from Canada to re-establish ecological balance. Now, we're wiping out wolves again. And Einstein is dead, so he can't remind us about the definition of insanity.
The Freedom Party or liberty for me but not for thee.

Agree, but one correction: Phalen is from Glendive, not Miles City.

Note …the country isn’t running well.

Lots places in Bozeman ditto
I wish I could say I'm glad I don't live in Montana, but I live in Florida, so I got nothin'.
No worries and welcome to the club. We're the Florida of the north with less alligators and boa constrictors.

I don’t know Idaho is pretty crazy.
So is Wyoming.
There’s republicans and there are MAGA=Nazis. People who are that far gone need to be publicly shamed. On a billboard or a website.
I suggest red colored MAGA dunce caps.
That might be better than the white hoods I planned on using.

Well said. Thanks for the citation. Have we learned nothing?
Yes, we have apparently learned nothing.
Omg!
