Your story is the Montana I have grown up in and the one I want my grandchild to have the privilege of experiencing. Thank you for the beautiful story.
My Daddy had deer hunting buddies that were his best friends late in his life. When traveling through Montana, we always spend the night in Missoula and have breakfast at The Oxford. If those walls could speak … the huge Buffalo head is so beautiful, too.
I’ll try it next time. Years ago, I worked in Sen. John Melcher’s office in DC. From that experience, I became a big Montana fan. Great place filled with a wide variety of folks.

Thank you for this beautiful story and a reminder of the power of friendship.
Lovely tribute to the best kind of friendship. My wife is fourth-gen Kalispell--her name's been carved in the Moose's bar since the '90s...!
Thanks Malcom! It’s a good place to have your name carved!
